Well let me begin by saying we had a wonderful holiday season! Lori (Fullerton) and her husband Bill were in town for the holidays, after many attempts to get together (due to the blizzard) we finally did and had a great time catching up with the two of them. The highlight of the visit was when Bill said "Let Lori feed Lily ... just give her the bottle" after replying "that might be difficult for her" he continued to request Lori to help, finally I said "Well Lori you can try". Finally it dawned on Bill that I am nursing, the look on his face was priceless.
We spent Christmas with our friend Kyle and his family. We had a great time and I found out how little I know about recent history, we played Trivial Pursuit (I think Pop Culture).
We were planning on driving down to Phoenix but another snow storm came through and we ended up flying out the day before. Ryan spent a few days in Phoenix before heading back to Denver to work, he even worked a shift at Target (we are good for 10% off purchases for another 6 months).
My sister Nicole, she had twin boys 11 days after Lily was born decided to move back to Phoenix. While she went back to Alabama to pack up and drive to Phoenix, she left the boys with my mom and myself. I can't imagine having triplets! All the kids had a great time with each other. Lily was the "bully" of the group, she would kick one of the boys and then steal his toy. Eventually, she ended up with all the toys and the boys crying. I guess I need to work on sharing. She continues to sit very well on her own but now no longer wants to be on her tummy. I'm sure the boys will be crawling before her and then really put her in her place.
