Christmas Cards

The Christmas cards have finally been sent out, I'm really behind this year. Usually, I have them done the last weekend of November but I didn't have a picture of Lily. I thought I would wait until a Christmas party our realtor here in Denver put on, which included a visit from Santa and his reindeer.

The entire way to the party Lily was "all talk" about how she was going to ask what to leave the reindeer to eat on Christmas Eve. Well, she clammed up and Ryan had to drag her up to receive her gift from Santa. Later, she had enough nerve to ask Mrs. Claus what to feed the reindeer. Mrs. Claus didn't do so well playing her part and said she wasn't really sure.

Well, as you will see from your Christmas cards we did not include a letter or Top 5 this year. Seriously what am I going to say . . .

1. My daughter died.
2. My dog died.
3. My grandfather died.
4. I can't wait to find out how 2009 treats us!

That's real uplifting for everyone!
I've decided not to post my rollarcoaster of a pregnancy as it's not much better. Although, I will let you know that we do not know the gender of the baby. We didn't find out with Lily and decided not to again, but I have decided to name the baby "Hershey's Kiss". It seems fitting since I'm eating an incredible amount of chocolate, 4 candy bars in the past 2 days. I thought they would be a better investment of my time then having to unwrap all those Hershey's Kisses. Even if we wanted to know the gender we wouldn't have been able to tell as the baby had it's legs crossed. Although, lately I've been having monthly ultrasounds and I know the gals in my OB office know the gender. I'm hoping the ultrasounds will continue as the baby was in the breech position, I know we still have lots of time for the baby to turn but I really like being able to see the baby on the screen.

Oh Jen, Lily is so adorable. She seems pretty comfy with Santa. She has grown so much, such a pretty little girl. I hope you are doing well!! The anticipation of not knowing the sex. We found out with Karsyn but didn't with Parker. I liked the surprise. Merry Christmas to you and Ryan, Lily, and Hershey Kiss!!
