Princess Lily

It's official, Lily has finally decided that she IS a princess. We started ballet last week, a requirement of class is a leotard, ballet shoes and tights. She was beyond excited to get ready for class. We have taken mom and tot dance classes and she also took an creative movement class on her own before Christmas, she continues to take this class in addition to her ballet class.
So we went to class on Thursday, she was by far the youngest in the class and I'd been told the instructor was extremely firm with the kids. Some how Lily's age is listed as 3 1/2 instead of 2 1/2, the age requirement is 3-5 year olds for the class and most kids are 4. Class ended and the instructor said she did great! What a relief, because I'm not sure how I would have told her she could not go back to ballet.

Today, we went out to the Angel Statue and ended up taking a walk afterwards (trying to get Jill to deliver her baby), Lily walked about 1/2 mile and then proceeded to take a 3 hour nap this afternoon. I might be walking everyday!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday . . . President Obama!

Wow, she is adorable. She and Parker are about the same age. The princess stage for girls and the I can and will do everything by myself stage...well that is probably for both girls and boys. She is going to be quite the little dancer. More pics, more pics!!
