Here's our "Proud as a Lily"! She was so funny at the zoo, she tried to get the real peacocks to play with her. But, they just ran away from her! This past week we were able to wear the peacock to gymnastics class, after a few jump on the trampoline we took off the costume.

She also won "Best Costume" for our community Halloween party. At the party, some of the model homes were opened up for the kids to trick-or-treat at, Lily thought it was the neatest thing . . . people giving her candy for no reason! After the first house, she tried to open the door at the next house she just couldn't wait for the CANDY! Sounds like her mom! Lily seriously thinks a peacock says "trick-or-treat", it's pretty funny!
Today, we are heading off to Ryan's work and then onto our friend Kyle's house for a little get together tonight. What was your favorite costume as a child? I would have to say a "Princess" costume that my mom made, it was pink satin with a pretty hat and a star wand made out of aluminum foil.

I remember one of my favorite costumes, was an old lady. I had glasses, a cane, a hat with netting.
Ok . . . that's how you looked the other day when you came over. I'm not so sure it's a costume?!?
Lily is adorable. What a neat costume. The only thing I can remember as a kiddo is those dorky plastic costumes with the scratchy masks, I couldn't wait to get out of them. I'll never make my kids wear them. But my mom tells me I wanted to.
